Play Ball! EDGE is enabling event center precast projects

Across the country, fans are cheering on their favorite sports teams in stadiums, many of which are built with precast concrete designed and fabricated by EDGE customers. From Oklahoma to Wisconsin, EDGE-powered teams are delivering the complex, large-scale precast work that makes these iconic structures possible.

Here’s a look at four recent projects that showcase what EDGE customers are building in the sports arena.

BOK Center Expansion — Tulsa, Oklahoma

EDGE customers tackled this major event center in Oklahoma.  The project demanded precision across a high volume of complex precast components and requires extensive coordination between design and fabrication teams, which was enabled by EDGE’s unique BIM capabilities.

Fishers Event Center  — Indianapolis, Indiana

Coreslab Indianapolis contributed to this major event center renovation in Indiana, home of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.  The work demanded exacting tolerances and a relentless construction schedule, met by a detailing team whose workflows, refined over years of EDGE use, kept everything moving efficiently and accurately.

The Monument — Rapid City, South Dakota

Gage Brothers, a long-time EDGE producer customer fabricated the precast for this arena in South Dakota, adding significant new capacity. 

American Family Field — Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Wells delivered this baseball stadium project  for the Milwaukee Brewers.  Challenges like raker beams, seating bowl geometry, canopy structures, and site-cast interfaces all required careful detailing.

Metromont has produced several notable stadiums, including the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta where the Falcons play. 

Metromont’s Hiram, GA manufacturing facility produced approximately 380,000 SF of precast concrete stadia seat sections for the project (approximately 2,600 pieces).
